Adur appoints new cabinet member for environment and leisure

Councillor Jude Harvey has stepped down from her role as Adur District Council's cabinet member for the environment and leisure.
She will continue her responsibilities as a local councillor for Southwick Green Ward, but has decided to leave the role on the council's cabinet.
Councillor Harvey will be succeeded by Councillor Andrew Harvey, her husband, who is a ward councillor for Eastbrook and the current Vice Chair of Adur District Council.
Councillor Andrew Harvey will step down from his role as Vice Chair, where he has supported Councillor Adrienne Lowe during her term as Adur's first citizen.
Local councillors will vote on the appointment of a replacement Vice Chair at the next full council meeting, on Thursday 24th October 2024:
